White iPhone 4 Is Finally Here!

After many long and painful delays, the iPhone 4 has been finally released in white colour. April 28th is the release date for the White iPhone 4 in the eastern hemisphere and Europe. However there is a slight difference with the iPhone 4's thickness. The white iPhone 4 is about 0.02mm thicker than the original iPhone 4. After holding the white iPhone 4 it immediately feels thicker than the original black iPhone 4. Still, the white iPhone 4 is much welcomed.

Next Macbook Pro To Get A Facelift

Apple's next Macbook Pro series is expected to get a complete redesign of the body, according to sources at Macrumors. This will be the first redesign since late 2008 when the Macbook Pro series introduced it's first unibody aluminium design. Apple is likely to continue with the unibody design as it is now the core of Mac designs.

A case redesign was expected to happen back in February 2011. Instead, the Macbook Pro received an "under the hood" update which included a whole new processor series (Intel Sandy Bridge), graphics, larger hard disk space and Intel's new Thunderbolt I/O. Although the update was much welcomed, it was disappointing that the aging design remained unchanged. Don't get me wrong, I believe the current MacBook Pro series have a brilliant aesthetic design, but it is time for a change.

There are many rumors circling around on how the next MacBook Pro design will look like, but unfortunately we do not have any clear indications. Most likely the new MacBook Pro will follow a similar design to the new MacBook Air (released in late 2010). It will likely be thinner and lighter (this will not be suprising as Apple is obsessed in creating thinner products). The screen resolution is also expected to increase. Other rumors speculate that the DVD drive will be dropped and the hard drive will be replaced with flash memory.

It will be interesting to see what Apple has up it's sleeve for the upcoming MacBook Pro series.

The next generation iPhone is likely to have a Dual-Core A5 processor, which was introduced to the iPad 2 earlier this year. The physical design is more than likely to remain identical to that of the iPhone 4 and the screen size will probably stay the same. Which is a shame, as Android powered phones like: HTC, Sony Ericsson and Samsung have an average screen size of
