The iMac is nearly due for an update. The next update is most likely to feature Intel's new "Sandy Bridge" processor lineup. The current iMac comes standard with a dual-core i3 processor. The new Macbook Pro range comes with the new i5 processor as standard. It looks like the iMac may feature a quad-core i5 processor as their entry point. Just like the Macbook Pro, the iMac will feature the "Thunderbolt" port without a doubt. Rumors say that this update will come around May.
